Heather + Marshall | Red Rocks Open Space Engagement Session
Heather and Marshall are from sunny Florida and contacted us last summer to shoot their intimate destination wedding at the Maroon Bells in Aspen, Colorado. We had a Skype call with them so that we could talk through the details with them and get to know one another a bit. We found out that we share a mutual love of national parks, camping, the great outdoors, doggos, and good food and brews. They decided they wanted to escape the Florida heat for a weekend and ventured out to Colorado for their engagement session. We brought our dog and hiked through Red Rock Open Space on a strangely warm October day. We shared so many laughs and good talks, and had so much fun with these two. After our session, we went back to their Airbnbn and they cooked up sliders and tots, and we shared a meal with them. We built a fire, Heather made some bomb hot chocolate and we roasted marshmallows, listened to some tunes and sat and talked by the fire. I also snagged a few cozy campfire photos of these two snuggling by the fire. It was such a good day, and we cannot wait for their upcoming wedding this summer!
